Our Grant-Making Approach

The Lambury Charitable Trust makes discretionary grants to both individuals and organisations. Our funding focuses on overseas relief, education and religious activities, but we also consider other charitable purposes within our broad remit.

Below are examples of the types of grants we may make. These are illustrative examples only – the trustees have full discretion and may support projects outside these examples.

Important disclaimer: The examples below are for illustrative purposes only. They do not represent commitments to fund any particular project or type of project. All grants are made at the trustees' absolute discretion, and there is no guarantee of funding.

Important Information for Applicants

Trustee Discretion

All grants are made at the absolute discretion of the trustees. The examples shown above are illustrative only and do not represent a commitment to fund any particular type of project.

Limited Funds

The Trust has limited funds available each year. We receive many more applications than we can support, and even worthy projects may not be funded due to resource constraints.

Application Process

There is no formal application form. Initial enquiries should be made by email, providing a brief overview of the project, the amount requested, and how it aligns with our focus areas.

No Guarantee of Funding

There is no guarantee of funding, and the trustees' decision is final. We are unable to provide detailed feedback on unsuccessful applications due to the volume of enquiries.
