Qualitative Impact
Beyond quantitative measures, our grants aim to create meaningful qualitative impact:
Dignity & Empowerment
Grants that help individuals overcome hardship restore dignity and empower people to improve their circumstances.
Community Resilience
Support for community projects builds social connections and resilience, helping communities better withstand challenges.
Sustainable Change
We prioritise projects that create lasting change rather than short-term fixes, ensuring our grants have enduring impact.
How We Measure Impact
As a small trust with limited administrative resources, we use proportionate methods to assess impact:
Reporting Requirements
For larger grants, we may request a brief report on how funds were used and what was achieved. This helps us understand the difference our funding makes and informs future grant-making.
Case Studies
With permission, we develop anonymised case studies that illustrate impact while protecting beneficiary confidentiality.
Trustee Oversight
The trustees review impact information to ensure grants are achieving charitable objectives and to guide future funding decisions.
Transparency and learning: We are committed to transparency about our impact and continuously learning how to maximise the effectiveness of our grant-making.
